Background

With an impressive 50-year career in local government, Terrey brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership expertise to the MB Team. Holding the positions of Shire Clerk and, later, General Manager for Coolamon Shire Council, Terrey has completed over 50 assignments since joining the MB team in 2014.

Terrey’s specialties include executive recruitment, organisational structure, performance reviews and agreements, and internal audit

With a clear understanding of the requirements within rural Councils and the challenges faced, Terrey is able to provide a valuable service in the end to end recruitment process.

Terrey will be able to draw on his vast experience to identify the right candidate for Council, or if needed, is able to suggest a member of our accredited team of interim managers to fill any gap until a position is filled, minimising disruption to Council .

Honours and Awards

Terrey was awarded the NSW Public Service Medal in 2012 for his service to local government, and he is a Life Member of the Local Government Managers Association 2013.
