Scott as Managing Director is partnering with Stephen Blackadder as Australian General Manager and they have ambitious plans for the future of the new entity.
Stephen is personally excited about the transition. “Scott will lead the growth of Mason Blackadder across Australia and I have positive expectations about my role in the new venture as Australian General Manager. I will have the opportunity to continue to serve you with the same quality of personal service you have come to value from me, and of course, we hope there will be an expanded range of services and talent available from our new venture.”
Scott is a highly experienced Public Sector Executive who has worked for over 20 years as a Chief Executive Officer most recently at Central Highlands Regional Council as well as performing in a number of Board and Advisory Committee roles. Scott understands the challenges faced by Executive Leaders and has led a number of successful transformation change and reform projects for large organisations. His expertise is in designing a strategic direction for an organisation that improves its organisational culture and performance, which includes the coaching of Leadership Teams to ensure that transformation is sustainable.
Stephen’s extensive experience spans a 36-year career in Local Government, with 20 of those years in General Manager/CEO leadership roles. Since founding Blackadder Associates, Stephen has recruited over 350 CEO’s, General managers and Directors. His passion for Local Government continues and he is dedicated to the advancement of Local Government.
Our Queensland State Manager, John Oberhardt, and NSW State Manager, Helen Lever are joined by Christine Georgiadis as Chief Operating Officer, with Terrey Kiss and Steven Pinnuck our Rural Leadership team.
